Family Day at the Dairy Farm is an open house held on February 11, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the UF/IFAS Dairy Farm located in Alachua, Florida. The event has been moved to earlier in the year in hopes of avoiding bad weather.
This event offers the community an opportunity to see a working dairy farm and learn more about the dairy production process. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet researchers who work to improve the Florida dairy industry along with dairy products.
Family Day at the Dairy Farm is a family friendly educational opportunity for children and adults of all ages and admission is FREE. Don’t miss this fun-filled, educational experience! This event is weather-dependent. Please check for updates the week prior to the event for further details regarding weather effects.
